My mind could not comprehend how cheap accommodation in Bali could be. Thereofore, finding the best place to stay in Bali was a daunting task for me with so many incredible options.

One thing is for sure, whether you’re dreaming of a jungle escape in Ubud, a chic beach retreat in Seminyak, or a laid-back surf town vibe in Canggu, this guide will walk you through the best places to stay in Bali based on my personal experiences, to help you make the most of your Balinese adventure.

The places we are about to list are in no specific order but we made sure to give you a good mix so you can decide which one best fits your needs.

Well, Ubud was also our first place where we stayed in Bali back in 2019 and we were blown away by the beautiful sorroundings there. Not only is it located in the middle of a lush jungle but it is one of the best places in Bali to experience the Balinese way of life. Mid-Range $$: Tirta Sari Bungalow

Just a 3-minute walk from the beach, these Balinese bungalows are charming and cozy, with beautiful timber accents and lovely decorations. They feature a nice terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens and pool. The on-site restaurant is excellent, offering great food and wonderful service from the staff.

Luxury $$$: Sumberkima Hill Retreat

This was probably one of the best resorts we ever stayed in. The value for money here is insane with a private while as big as you can think of, private pool and junge viewss. We loved every minute here and waking up for sunrise here and watching the sunset on the same day was a true blessing!
